The project consists of providing all materials, labor, equipment and supervision required to construct a Communications/Electronics Training Facility at the 105th Airlift Wing NYANG, 1 Militia Way, Newburgh, NY 12550. The overall scope of work includes removal of existing topsoil and vegetation, the excavation for footings, foundations, utilities and sitework, demoltion of some existing facility features, construction of new facilities, roads, site improvements and parking, the alteration of an existing arms vault and installation of required utilities from the base distribution systems to the new facilities as per plans and specifications provided by the Government . The construction performance time for this project is 365 calendar days. The magnitute of the proposed project is between 1 and 5 million dollars. The project will be bid as a lump sum, firm fixed price type contract. The anticipated issue date of IFB DAHA 30-99-B-0005 is on or about 1 July 1999. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the 105th Airlift Wing Base, Newurgh, NY on 15 July 1999 at 10:00.The anticipated bid opening date will be on or about 3 August 1999. The soliciation is unrestricted, all responsible parties may submit a bid. The Standard Industrial Code applicable to this project is 1542. Interested firms may request an IFB package by submitting a written request to: USPFO-NY, ATTN: MNPF-PC, 330 Old Nikskayuna Road, Latham, NY 12110-2224. All requests for IFB packages must be accompanied by a non refundable cashiers check, money order or bank draft made payable to the U.S Treasury in the amount of $100,00.
