PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: This project is UNRESTRICTED. The Standard Industrial Code(SIC) for this project is 1542 General Contractors Nonresidential Buildings, Other Than Industrial Buildings and Warehouses. The size standard is $17.0 Million. The project includes the construction of a new Military Working Dog Kennel, totaling approximately 1,750 gross square feet. Provide a new facility with an office area for the Senior Officer and trainers, breakroom with counter and sink, toilet, shower, arms room communications and electrical rooms. The kennel area will provide for the care and housing of 12 military working dogs, including interior and exterior stalls for each dog, a food preparation area with counter and sink, and medical area with dog bathing facilities and storage room and all necessary kennel fencing and accessories. Site work will include providing all necessary utilities, an access road and parking area, perimeter fencing and security lighting, and all incidental related work. The projected date of availability of the solicitation is 22 June 99. The projected bid opening date is 02 August 1999.
