PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: This project is UNRESTRICTED. The Standard Industrial Code(SIC) for this project is 1623 Water, Sewer, Pipeline, and Communications and Powerline Construction. The size standard is $17.0 Million. The project includes replacement of Solids Contact Unit, Building 1315 at the Mainside Water Treatment Plant, extend the catwalks on clarifier 1308, provide stairs and access from ground level to the plat forms at the existing splitter box, replace the sludge blow-down flow meter in the lower valve room of the old splitter box, replace the backwash valve/meter control panel, replace the fluoride feeder/blend solution tanks, provide water service on catwalks for wash downs on both clarifiers, install floor drains for Fluoride Feeder Room, enclose Bull Gear for overflow protection for clarifier 1308 and 1315, relocate and install sludge flow meter, install level transducer and link to raw water flow control valve, link signal from water flow meter to pace fluoride injection and all incidental related work. The projected date of availability of the solicitation is 22 June 99. The projected bid opening date is 02 August 1999.
