PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: This project is UNRESTRICTED. The Standard Industrial Code(SIC) for this project is 1542 Building Construction. The size standard is $17.0 Million. The project includes Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical work as shown on the Contract Drawings and as outlined in the Contract Specifications. The work includes replacement of the pool and locker room ventilation systems, upgrades to the electrical service and distribution systems, new lighting with emergency backup, new fire alarm and detection system, upgrade finishes at the locker room/shower spaces including ceramic tile floors, removal of existing pool interior paint coatings and rusted surfaces, as well as new coating systems for all exposed steel, CMU walls and metal panels, replacement of damaged doors and frames and roof replacement at Ramer Hall, Building 24180, Quantico, Virginia and incidental related work. The projected date of availability of the solicitation is 22 June 99. The projected bid opening date is 02 August 1999.
