PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: This project is UNRESTRICTED. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1623 Water, Sewer, Pipeline, and Communications and Powerline Construction. The size standard is $17.0 Million. The project includes replacement of all existing high pressure steam distribution piping between manhole MH-3 and MH-116 and replacement of all existing high pressure steam and condensated distribution piping between MH-447 and MH-449. Asbestos insulation is present on the piping and will need to be properly removed, contained and disposed of. This project also includes the replacement of the steam and condensate piping system within these manholes and incidental related work. The projected date of availability of the solicitation is 22 June 99. The projected bid opening date is 02 August 1999.
