The Standard Industrial Code(SIC) for this project is 1622 Bridge, Tunnel and Elevated Highway Construction. The size standard is $17.0 Million. The project includes shoring specific bridge beams and supply sufficient jacking force to unload beam bearings, bracing excavation as required, expose existing four bridge columns down to top of pile caps, remove steel bracket and spalled concrete, and pressure inject remaining cracks, encase peir columns with new concrete, patch the pier cap beams, seal all surfaces of concrete piers, remove existing deck drain piping, hydro blast clean scupper drains, and install new ductile iron drain pipe, pressure inject under masonry plates, paint superstructure steel including bearings, remove existing deck joint compression seals and replace with new, replace removed asphalt pavement and concrete slope protection after excavations have been backfilled and compacted and all incidental related. The projected date of availability of the solicitation is 22 June 99. The projected bid opening date is 02 August 1999.
