The Army seeks to acquire electrical distribtion equipment which may be needed in the event of a hurricane passing through Puerto Rico. Items to be solicited include 40' concrete poles, metal crossarms, several types of electric transmission wires, lightning arrestors, suspension insulators, transformer mounting brackets, and related items. Anticipate issuance of request for quotations o/a June 14, 1999 for receipt of quotes no later than June 23, 1999. Materials will be required for delivery f.o.b. destination no later than July 15, 1999. Telephone requests will not be honored and collect calls will not be accepted. Parties interested in receiving the RFQ may send their request via U.S. Mail, via facsimile transmission to (787) 273-3751, or via e-mail to Mr. Javier Cruz at jcruz@buchanan-emh1.army.mil.
