The Quality of Life (QOL) Department of the Naval Weapons Station, Seal Beach is soliciting sealed bids on an open competitive basis from qualified organizations to award an Aluminum Recylcing "Special Project" Contract. The project shall be awarded to the highest bidder whose proposal complies with all of the prescribed requirements. The bidder further understand and agree that LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCCEPTED. Bid due date is no later than 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, June 11, 1999. The 97.65% aluminum to be recycled is approximately 429,657 pounds. The term of this contract will be approximately thirty (30) business days. The Description of Service to be performed entails drop-off, pick-up and exchange 40 yard roll-off containers or comparable which is supplied by the contractor at no cost to QOL.
