This requirement is for on-site maintenance for DFAS-Indianapolis' document processing equipment. This equipment is used to process checks, bonds, advice of payments and other documents. The maintenance will include labor, parts, travel and transportation, tools, manuals, diagnostic software and test equipment. The contract requires on-site remedial maintenance during the principle period of maintenance and outside the prinicle period of performance. All maintenance services shall be performed by experienced and qualified personnel (resume's are required). Best value source selection procedures will apply. The Government will award a Firm-Fixed price order resluting from this solicitation. The base period of performance is October 1, 1999 -- March 31, 2000, Option Period 1 April 1, 2000 -- March 31, 2001: Option Period 2, April 1, 2001 -- March 31, 2002.
