Kesler, Regional Contract Specialist Modification of original announcement published 12/22/98: The Federal Correctional Institution, Milan, MI (FCI) seeks to establish a Firm-Fixed Price, Requirements Type contractual arrangement with a qualified medical entity, located within a 30 mile radius of the FCI, to provide Inpatient and Outpatient Medical Services for inmates housed at the FCI. Anticipated contract award will be for a Base Period of one year and four one year Option Periods. The contractor shall furnish the facilities, equipment and personnel necessary for medical care. The proposed estimated maximum(EM) requirements for inpatient days is as follows: 75EM for each contract period. The proposed EM for Outpatient Services during the Base Period and four Option Periods are as follows: Cardiologist, 23; Dermatologist, 13; Dental/Oral Surgeon, 33; General Surgeon, 43; Internist, 43; Neurologist, 13; Opthalmologist, 73; Orthopedic Surgeon, 53; Orthotics, 8; Podiatrist, 8; Radiologist Services, 43; Urologist, 23.
