The contractor is to provide technical assistance to the States and support the agency in the ongoing development of the Detailed Case Data Component of the National Child Abuse and Neglect Data System (NCANDS) and the refinement of the reporting of national aggregate data on child maltreatment. The contractor will work to maintain participation by the States in the Summary Data Component. The contractor will be required to collect, analyze and disseminate NCANDS data. The contractor will provide additional support and technical assistance to the States to ensure continuous collaboration and coordination between NCANDS and the Adoption and Foster Care Reporting and Analysis System and the Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System initiative. The period of performance is forty-eight months. The contract will be incrementally funded in four phases of twelve months each. Interested parties should request RFP 105-99-9801.
