FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items will be used for this acquisition. The Air Force Clothing Office(AFCO), through the 311 HSW/YACL, Wright Patterson AFB, OH, has a requirement for fabrication, testing, and reporting on a newly developed women's proportioned flyers coveralls (flightsuits -- CWU-27/P). This acquisition includes Program Management, Pattern Development/Modification, Flightsuit Fabrication(approx. 300, using Government Furnished Material(GFM)), Testing, and Reporting requirements. NOTE: The flightsuit manufacturer Shall be certified by the AFCO in the production of the CWU-27/P women's flyer's coveralls, which requires a sample to be sent to the AFCO for establishment of compliance to FNS PD 96-17 and notes. Period of performance will be approximately 01 Jul 99 -- 31 Oct 2000. The solicitation/RFP will be issued electonically.
