Housekeeping services at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), Buildings 9040A, and B, Old MAMC (OMAMC), Fort Lewis Dental Clinics, and Troop Medical Clinics. MAMC is a 414 operating bed health care facility which includes a 10 bed Intensive Care Unit West (ICUW); a 10 bed Intensive Care Unit East (ICUE); Patient Care Units (PCU) consisting of 369 beds; a Labor and Delivery Suite consisting of four delivery rooms and seven labor rooms, and a Surgical suite consisting of ten inpatient and four outpatient operating rooms. The structure consists of a high rise nursing tower with a ground floor and one through eight floors and miscellaneous Out Patient and Troop Medical Clinics. There are approximately 1,199,895 square feet of floor spaces to be maintained. Floor coverings consist of approximately 227,827 square feet of soft foor space (carpet), approximately 972,068 square feet of various types of hard surface flooring such as vinyl, ceramic, quarry tile, epoxy terrazzo, and concrete. There are approximately 25,000 square feet of window glass to be maintained in accordance with these specifications. The contract period will be January 1, 2000 through December 31, 2000 with four option years. The minimum level of acceptable experience required is 24 months within the previous 36 months from the date initially established for submission of proposals. Periods of creditable performance may have been incurred at more than one site if performance has been for at least 12 consecutive months at each site and performance was not concurrent. A group site visit will be held. Attendance will be at each offeror's expense and is strongly encouraged, but not mandated. Oral presentations are mandatory. The contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. The procurement is a follow-on to an existing contract and is a 100% small business set-aside.
