The project consists of demolition, removal, and disposal of all structures, improvements, equipment, and trash from the project site, as well as general regrading, recontouring, ripping, and revegetating compacted, non-vegetated, and disburbed areas. Project also includes obliteration of existing roadways within and accessing the site. The project is located from Austin, Nevada, via US Hwy 50 west for approx. 1 mile to the Midas Canyon Road (FDR 184) just east of Nevada SH 305. Head north on FDR 184 for approx. one-half mile passing the Austin R.D. Office and Warehouse. The road will bear right heading eastward up the left (north) flank of Slaughterhouse Canyon. Head straight up the canyon along the Argus Mill road (past intersection with FDR 221) for approx. one-third of a mile to the project site.
