The USPS controlled site size is approximately 33,007 square feet. The building size desired will be approximately 3,053 of interior square feet, and approximately 15,945 square feet of parking and maneuvering area. The selected offeror will be required to purchase the site currently under option to the Postal Service, construct a Post Office according to plans provided and lease back the completed facility to the Postal Service for a base term of twenty (20) years with two (2) 5 year options. The Postal Service will also have the option to purchase the completed facility at the end of the twenty (20) year term and after each five (5) year renewal option. A Postal Service lease agreement will be used. The Postal Service reserves the right to negotiate with any and all offerors. A pre-proposal meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 1999.
