The Air Armament Center (AAC) intends to award a contract for a 8000- lb force restoration technology mass properties measuring machine (Line item 1) to support and measure payloads within specified capacity (venders must call to request drawings 850-882-3519 x 5231); use of Force-restoration technology (not load cells) for high precision, moment measurement, use of gas bearing pivot (not knife edges), certified calibration weights and distances traceable to NIST- IBM compatible desktop computer; SVGA graphics monitor, printer; standard operating software for fully automated mass properties measurement including calibration and report generation; all necessary interfaces and interconnecting cables; operating manual and support documentation (MFGR MOD #KSR8000). Line item 2 is for an extended length interconnect cable (MFGR MOD #SE9731). Line item 3 is for alternate interface plate with 0.3 inch diameter in place of the standard 23 inch diameter plate (MFGR MOD#AIP30). Line item #4 is for a source plan licensing plan #1 (MFGR MOD #SE90037). This is a sole source, firm fixed price contract with Space Electronics Inc, 81 Fuller Way, Berlin, CT 06037, (860)-829-0001.
