probate proceedings in accordance with 43 CFR Part 4.210 et seq. and 54
BIAM Supp. 8. The services include processing of approximately 70
pending New Mexico Probate Backlog cases and subsequent deaths at
Eastern Navajo Agency, Crownpoint, New Mexico, as follows: 1. Obtain
copy of death certificate or equivalent. 2. Conduct interviews, obtain
and gather data for Heirship Finding and Family History on Form OHA-7
which includes facts about decedent's marriages, separations and
divorces with copies of necessary supporting documents; names and
addresses of probable heirs and other known parties in interest,
including known creditors; information about whether the relationship
of the probable heirs arose by marriage, blood or adoption; names,
relationships to deceased, and last known addresses of beneficiaries
and attesting witnesses when a will is involved; and information about
tribal affiliation, if any, of beneficiaries under a will who are not
probable heirs of deceased. 3. Land Records and Titles Individual
Tribal Interest report which shows inventory of real and personal
property wherever situated in which the deceased had any right, title
or interest at the time of death. 4. Individual Indian Monies (IIM)
Report showing all trust monies in IIM Account. 5. The original and
copies of all wills in the custody of agency officials including any
codicils to and revocations of will. 6. All creditor's and other claims
which have been filed. 7. Upon completion, Contractor shall prepare the
OHA-7 report and transmittal memorandum to the Administration Law Judge
for signature of Agency Realty Officer. Contractor is required to have
Navajo speaking staff to conduct interviews to gather information for
preparation of data. This acquisition is being processed under the
simplified acquisition procedures and is reserved for small businesses.
The projected period of time to solicit, evaluate quotes, and issue the
purchase order is thirty days. Limit to first 15 requests. Request for
