The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking an outpatient provider for assessment and counseling services for substance abuse treatment of male and female offenders held under various statutes of the United States in Winchester, Virginia. The period for services to be rendered is October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2000, with four option years each beginning on October 1 of the subsequent year. A Firm-Fixed-Price-Requirements type contract is anticipated with a one year base period and four subsequent option years. Services are required for an estimated 15 inmates. Services required for each inmate are as follows: 1 intake assessment, 24 half hour sessions of individual counseling, and 48 half hour sessions of group counseling. All services shall be performed in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work, "Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) (Non-Residential) Substance Abuse Treatment," dated May 1999. The estimated issuance date for the Request for Proposals(RFP) is July 1, 1999. The estimated closing date for the RFP is August 1, 1999.
