The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Acquisition Center (NAC) intends to issue a written Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation for General Management Studies and Analysis Services Related to Medical Facility's Surgical Health Care Services and other Related Functions. This solicitation will be issued under the recently developed Federal Supply Schedule's (FSS) New Item Introductory Schedule (NIIS) for Medical Services. This schedule has no prescribed beginning and ending dates. The schedule period will be continuous and will contain contracts with contract periods that commence on the Date of Award (DOA) and expire three (3) years from DOA. The solicitation will be issued on or about June 16, 1999 and all responsible source may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by VANAC. In addition the solicitation will be a standing opportunity for new offers. This means that new offers may be forwarded to VANAC at any time. Contractors shall be required to provide general management studies and analysis services to individual medical facilities upon issuance of a task order against the FSS contract which will outline the medical facility's specific needs. Contractors must have the capability to provide all management studies and analysis in accordance with the skill areas, and their related sub-specialties, as indicated by the Special Item Number (SIN) listed in the solicitation. Offeror's proposal shall be evaluated based on their employee's professional qualifications, corporate experience, and past performance. The Department of Veterans Affairs Nartional Acquisition Center anticipates negotiating and issuing Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Fixed Price, Multiple Award Contracts with Economic Price Adjustments.
