On or about 6/7/99, this office will issue a Request for Proposal for construction of Green Summit Annex at Lee's Summit MO. Proposals will be opened on 7/6/99 at 3:00 PM. THIS IS NOT A PUBLIC PROPOSAL OPENING. The value of the work is estimated to be between $2,000,000.00 and $2,400,000.00. Description of the work is the project consists of a one story steel frame and block building of approximately 23,800 g.s.f. which includes workroom and support areas, a covered mail platform, carrier loading slabs, and paved maneuvering areas. The site is located in Lee's Summit MO to the west of S.W. Market Street between Persels Road and M291 Highway. The contractor will be required to commence work within 10 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed and complete within 270 calendar days. Liquidated damages will be accessed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. There will be a NON-REFUNDABLE FEE FOR PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
