THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 03 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR 20,000 LB Shaker and Slip Table with Amplifier, Controller, and Software. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to revise some of the solicitation specifications as a result of questions or comments requested and received. Changes are made only to the paragraphs identified below. Any paragraphs not specifically identified remain unchanged as they were posted on May 17, 1999. Changes are as follows: 2.1 Sine sweep from 180 Hz to 2000 Hz at 71g with a 200 lb payload 2.2 Minimum Random PSD spectrum flat from 20 Hz to 2000 Hz at 36g rms with up to a 340-lb payload. 2.3 (correct typo) "4 rms" should read "4 ms" 3.1 Minimum of 22,000-force pounds Sine, 18,000 pounds rms Random, and 40,000 lbs Shock force. 3.3 Minimum of 70 in/second peak velocity continuous duty. 3.4 First major resonance above 2175 Hz bare table. 5.4 Provide a slip table with a minimum of 35,000 inch pound over-turning moment capability. The due date for receipt of offers remains unchanged, June 10, 1999.
