This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED and open to both small and large business concerns. Award will be based on Best Value for the Government and evaluation factors will be: price, technical, delivery, and past performance (references will need to be provided with quote). Technical, Delivery, and Past Performance, when combined, are approximately equal to cost or price. DESCRIPTION: Brushes, cassette brushes. Replacement broom bristles for SWEEPSTER model 3100 front mount. The bristles will be 32 1/2_ to 32 5/8_ in length, and will have tuffs of 0.045 mm wire-zinc coated. The wire tuffs shall be inserted into plastic sups and fastened to the bristle section. The sections will be constructed from plastic with a metal cap inserted for strengthening the section. The wire tuffs will be 11_ in length with no more than 1/4_ variance. The broom length is 95 1/2_ outside diameter without the cassette is 28._ Quantity: 49 boxes (108 each cassettes per box). Brushes will be designated to fit properly in the broom core MFG by Svenska. Part numbers: SWB-14 or 1646-WB. **BRAND NAME ONLY** The Standard Industry Code (SIC) is 3391.
