negotiate a commercial contract for commercial transportation/vehicle
repair parts and supplies provider. Supplies typically carried by
industry for purposes of supplying state-of-the art
transportation/vehicle and repair parts including, but not limited to,
filters, motor repair parts, drive train repair parts, bumpers,
windshield replacement, radiator repair, small part pre-expended parts,
tires, fluids, and accessories for a variety of vehicles (automobiles,
trucks, commercial trucks, emergency vehicles, material handling
equipment, cranes and motorcycles. The term of this contract will be
one year, with four one-year options. This will be handled as a
two-step request for proposal. Industry Forum will be conducted on
17and 18 JUN 1999 at the Norfolk Naval Station (location to be
determined.) Information on the first step of the RFP will be discussed
at the Industry Forum day. Contractors will have the opportunity to
discuss commercial standards in relation to the Statementof Objectives
