The Air Force Flight Test Center has a requirement for a contractor to provide all services necessary to perform the operation, maintenance, and repair of a Class IV tertiary wastewater treatment facility at Edwards Air Force Base and a Class III activated sludge plant at the Air Force Research Laboratory, California. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, personnel, equipment, services, tools, office and laboratory furnishing, materials, supplies, replacement parts, and any other required items associated with wastewater collection, wastewater pumping system operations, and wastewater treatment in order to provide continuous, cost effective, and efficient conveyance of all activity generated wastewater to the Edwards AFB wastewater treatment facility. Operations shall be in accordance with applicable Federal, State and County regulations. Systems shall minimize unsatisfactory service to include flooding conditions, pump station failures, pipe blockages, and excessive infiltration and inflowconditions. Generated waste materials (waste oils, grit screenings, and other waste solids), must be routinely collected, and removed to an appropriate disposal site. Disposal practices to include transportation shall be in accordance with environmental regulations.
