The project is located in a remote area with no available utilities. Camping is allowed in the project area at a location approved by the Contracting Officer. The project is approximately 15.5 miles east of Hoonah, Alaska, along Forest Development Road 85304, and 1 mile west of Whitestone Harbor. Hoonah is located on Chichagof Island and is accessible by airplane, boat, barge, and the Alaska Marine Highway system. A formal pre-quote tour is planned for July 8, 1999 at 1:00 PM.
