The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Southeast Regional Office is seeking bids for the Roof Replacement project of the Gator Unit at the Federal Correctional Institution located at 15801 S.W. 137th Avenue, Miami, Florida. The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, supervision, and equipment required for removal of old roof and to furnish and install a complete fully adhered roofing system utilizing polyester reinforced, hot air welded thermoplastic NBP (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Polymer Blend)single ply membrane along with the insulation system indicated in the Statement of Work, Specifications, and Drawings. Due to the location of the project, the successful contractor and employees will be subject to a security/background check. The magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Period of performance will be 120 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed. Bid, performance, and payment bonds will be required. The SIC code for this construction is 1541 with small business size standard of $17 million. All responsible sources may apply.
