Defense Supply Center Richmond intends to negotiate with firm or firms to supply, in a Prime Vendor situation, shims, spacers, rings, gaskets, plugs and washers used on weapon systems used by the US and Foreign Governments. Prime vendor signifies a vendor who can supply multiple lines of items regardless of the manufacturer. The basic solicitation contains approx 1300 national stock numbers with a mix of competitive items and part numbered (sole source) items. Successful vendor(s) must submit proposal on at least 10% of the items in the solicitation. Duration: One Base year plus 4 one-year options. Guaranteed minimum: 10% of estimated dollar value of each contract, per year. Delivery: 10 days after receipt of POPS order for regular orders and 5 days for urgent orders: all FOB Destination to CONUS. Destination inspection applies after first order IAW QAP 002. No first article testing but some items are QPL, Rights Guard and Export Control. For part numbered items: DSCR does not possess specifications, plans or drawings. For drawing items; DSCR does possess specifications. Several items are Rights Guard items: Rights Guard data restrictions apply to some of the items in the solicitation.
