Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), St. Inigoes, MD has a sole
source requirement for Raytheon Systems Company AN/PSC-5 Spitfire Radio
Sets (122 each), which consist of RT-1672/U Transceivers, P/N:
724779-801 (122 each); Battery Box Assemblies P/N: 724428-801 (122
each); Handset P/N: H-250/U (122 each); V/UHF LOS Antennas P/N:
812059-2 (86 each); Operations/Maintenance Manual (122 each). The
Government intends to place a delivery order with Raytheon Systems
Company, 1010 Production Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46808-4106 under BOA
number F09603-97-G-0003. These items are required by the Joint Base
Station (JBS) Variant 2 A and B Transportable Case and Variant 3
Station DAMA upgrade project. The JBS community presently uses the
PSC-5 Spitfire Radio sets, which are JITC DAMA certified and meets all
