This is a notice of intent to sole source a requirement for software with the capability to rapidly notify and recall personnel to support an emergency operations center. The software selected is RapidReach Software, produced by Procomm Marketing, Inc., 655 Lewelling Blvd., Suite 351, San Leandro, CA 94579. This office intends to purchase RapidReach, 4 lines, 3 users (Qty. 1); Additional line capacity, Per 4 line increment (Qty. 2); Fax, per 4 line increment (Qty. 1); Alpha Paging/GSM Messaging (Qty. 1); On-site service, installation and training (Qty. 1). Use of this software provides a one button reach-out functionally feature without having to purchase additional equipment or licenses to achieve that functionality. Does not require the purchase of additional software to interface with existing computer system and the WEB-EOC software currently being utilized. This software is capable of sending voice messages to telephones, numerical and text messages to pagers, text and graphic messages to fax machines, and text messages via e-mail. Once transmitted, product requests a response which is logged in real-time and available in detailed reports. All communications take place over multiple phone lines thus reducing time and costs. Product requires minimal training which is also a cost savings considering the large number of potential users.
