The United States Department of Agriculture, Office of Chief Information Officer, National Information Technology Center, is seeking marketing literature and technical documentation on software that provides an on-line security request form to perform the following functions: (1) provide on-line security request screens/menus for requests by agencies for additions, changes, and deletions for access to the system. The screens should be able to be customized if necessary to allow for special privileges, attributes, agency-requested fields and project requested information. The menus will provide for differences between requests for user IDs and batch IDs. The individuals requesting access will not have the capability to perform these tasks; (2) performs edits to verify information, such as accounting codes, against tables of information before it is accepted; (3) ability for approval of request before it is processed. Access to request menus/screens and approval screens should be restricted; (4) processes information contained in screens into RACF or ACF2 syntax for batch submission by system security officer; (5) updates a flatfile or database with information entered through screens. Includes dates and IDs of who entered and approved the request; (6) ability to produce reports from information in a flatfile or database; (7) capability to determine the status of a request; and (8) allows for customization because the user may want more information than needed by the NITC to add, change or delete users.
