UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. intends to award a contract to Atlantic Thread and Supply, 5921 D Moravia Park Drive, Baltimore, Maryland 21206, for the sale of thread used to manufacture the Wildland Firefighting Glove for the U.S. Forest Service. There are two line items. Line Item 0001: 500 CJ THD0803, Thread, Aramid, Procurement Spec: MS, 83193B, Size 70, 3 or 4 ply, Color is dark brown. Line Item 0002: 1,400 CJ THD0804, Thread, Aramid, Procurement Spec. MIL-T-83193B, Size 90, Ply 3 or 4, color is natural. Delivery is to Sandstone, MN. There will be a base year plus 4 option years. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT AVAILABLE. Atlantic Thread and Supply is the only source for providing this service. All interested concerns identify their interest in writing and fully document their capability to meet the Agency's requirements by forwarding a detailed response by July 19, 1999.
