RESOURCES (AMLR) PROGRAM SOL 52ABNF900062 DUE 071999 POC POC: Kristina
R. Rodabaugh (206)526-6379, for copy of solicitation call (206)
526-6425) TEXT: NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service has a
requirement for physical oceanography studies to be accomplished during
a research cruise in the vicinity of the South Shetland Islands,
Antarctica, during the months of January, February, and March, 2000.
The cruise will consist of two 30-day legs, with port calls (2-3 days
in duration) in Punta Arenas, Chile, before and after each leg. Two
experienced workers are required for each cruise leg to conduct the
studies. The objectives of the studies include: (1) description of the
hydrography of the upper ocean waters throughout the AMLR study area
and over the duration of the cruise; and (2) collection of a continuous
record of sea surface and atmospheric conditions annotated by date,
time, and vessel's position. All interested concerns may request a copy
of the RFP and submit proposals which will be considered by the
Government. . Posted 06/03/99 (W-SN338813). (0154) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0017 19990607\B-0003.SOL)
