Systems Command intends to negotiate an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite
Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with Raytheon Systems Company, Sensors and
Electronic Systems, Goleta, CA. This ID/IQ contract is intended to be
for engineering services in support of the AN/ALE-50(V) countermeasures
decoy dispensing system (CMDDS). These services will be specifically
for the multi-platform launch controller (MPLC) and integrated
multi-platform launch controller (IMPLC). Services will include
software support; engineering services; test and evaluation support and
repair of repairables. The Government does not own the data package
necessary to compete the proposed procurement. Raytheon Systems Company
is the designer, developer and manufacturer of the ALE-50(V) CMDDS and
is the only source with the personnel, facilities and knowledge to
perform this effort within the required timeframe. The period of
performance for this requirement will commence on 31 August 1999 and
continue through 1 September 2003, with three, one-year option periods.
