The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has a requirement for preventive maintenance, overhaul/rebuilding and repair, and trouble shooting on three (3) 1,175 ton Carrier model 19C centrifugal chillers. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to perform the following work; Annual preventive maintenance on three chillers; summer start-up inspection within 24 hours after notification in March; five summer inspections within 48 hours after notification in May, June, July, August, and September; all repair work; (24) hour emergency call-back service; all preventive maintenance work shall be performed between December 1st and March 15th so that the equipment is operable by April 1st. It is the intention of the Government that the contractor provide all services under the contract. Subcontracting will only be permitted in special circumstances with prior approval of the contracting officer. The proposed contract will provide for a base year with options not to exceed a 60 month contract life. A bid guarantee in the amount of 20 percent of the offered price shall be required as well as payment and performance bonds.
