SOURCES SOUGHT for the VA Roseburg Healthcare System, Roseburg, Oregon, to provide durable medical equipment (DME) -- supplies and services contracts. The Government is looking for offerors who have DME facilities in our medical treatment area. VA Roseburg plans on making multiple awards to meet this requirement. The base year will begin 10/1/99 through 9/30/2000, with four option years to provide the subject services. Services have been determined to be commercially available within the service area. Awards will be made by county. The medical treatment area for VA Roseburg Healthcare System includes the following: For Oregon: Lane, Douglas, Coos, Curry, Josephine, Jackson, Klamath and Lake Counties; For Northern California: Del Norte and Siskiyou Counties. The contractor shall furnish, deliver, set-up, recover, clean, store and reissue new and used medical equipment and supplies to VAMC beneficiaries homes. The contractor must be a Joint Commission Accreditated Hospital Organization (JCAHO). The Government will make available the specific provisions, terms, and conditions in its solicitation to be issued at a later date.
