Furnish a Crisis Intervention Shelter, consisting of a temporary residential shelter and crisis intervention counseling for active duty military personnel or family members of active duty personnel who are victims of spouse abuse, by providing all necessary personnel, services, and supplies. Shelter must be located in the Killeen/Copperas Cove/Harker Heights, Texas area. Lead/Senior counselor shall have a Bachelor's Degree (from an accredited university) in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or Psychology. The Lead/Senior counselor shall also possess 2 years direct experience counseling battered spouses. All other counselors providing crisis intervention counseling to clients shall have a minimum of 6 months experience in counseling victims of spouse abuse. Period of performance is 1 October 1999 through 30 September 2000 with four one-year options.
