70 -- SOFTWARE UPGRADE AND MAINTENANCE SUPPORT SUBJECT: Software Upgrade and Maintenance Support. DESC: The U.S. Department of Energy's Federal Energy Technology Center (FETC), Pittsburgh, PA intends to award a purchase order on a sole-source basis to the Laboratory Information & Management Systems purchase the following: (1) SL-USR-080, StarLIMS Ver.8 Concurrent user; (2) SL-WAN-080, StarLIMS Ver.8 WAN Option; and (3) SL-SIL-080, One year StarLIMS support contract. This purchase order is being issued to Laboratory Information & Management Systems because they are holder of the source code for the existing software, LIMS is the only vendor with the capabilities to add the user and WAN option to this software.. This request is considered to be sole source to Laboratory Information & Management Systems. Therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement.
