The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Washington, intends to award a sole source gratuitous industry training services pilot program agreement with Andersen Consulting of Atlanta, GA. This is considered a pilot program which will be reviewed for possible future competitive agreements being established with industry. The agreement is for Andersen Consulting to provide on-the-job training of mid-level Naval Supply Officers pursuing a course of study leading to a MBA and the Navy agrees to provide supply officers to participate in certain tasks incidental to this training. The training will be provided on a purely gratuitous basis for a period of approximately 6 to 8 weeks and the services are performed without any expectation of payment or reimbursement for the same.
