THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON CD ONLY. Install an underground irrigation system at the Rice Bar HMU (Habitat Management Unit) site. Rice Bar is located on the south bank of the Snake River approximately nine miles upstream from the Washington State Highway 127 bridge at Central Ferry. Work consists of furnishing and installing approximately 5100 feet of 8-inch main line, and 3700 feet of 6-inch and 400 feet of 4-inch branch lines of PVC pipe. Ten separate circuits providing water to 17 separate plots are required. Two hundred fifty five sprinkler nozzles with orifice size from 5/16 to 3/8 inch on galvanized steel pipe standpipes are required. Many electric and manual valves are required. Precast concrete control valve vaults for circuit control valves and valve boxes for drain valves and isolation valves are required. The well, pump, and electrical power to the pump are existing. New main line must be connected tothe pump. Provide new electrical controls for the pump and circuits and new electrical panel enclosure. Construct a small shelter over the pump station. Shelter is 14 feet by 10 feet by 9-1/2 feet tall with sloping roof. Shelter consists of steel tube posts and roof framing members, walls and door of chain-link fencing and gate, galvanized roof decking with hatch cover to permit removal of pump. Some concrete work is required for thrust blocks for pipelines and footings for pump shelter. ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION: The estimated cost range for this job is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The standard industrial classification code (SIC) is 1629. The small business size standard is average annual receipts for the previous three fiscal years must not exceed $17,000,000.
