Work includes construction of one new earth covered box type missile magazine with dimensions of approximately 97 feet wide x 60 feet deep and a ceiling height of 14 feet with access three 25-foot wide steel doors and renovates two existing missile magazines (buildings 420 and 421). Renovation of the existing magazines includes removal of the covered magazines and construction of new front wall with new larger steel doors. Construction of the magazine includes pile foundation, reinforced cast-in-place concrete foundations, floor, walls and roof, sliding steel doors and earth cover. Also included are site preparation and grading; site drainage; soil stabilization with seeding and sodding; pavement for access drives and vehicle operating apron; passive interior ventilation system; interior lighting; lightning protection; intrusion detection; and electrical grounding systems. The estimated range of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Period of performance is 425 calendar days.
