Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials and transportation necessary to construct Project JMAX962054, Repair Communications Training Facility,Building 101, and Project JMAX962055, Repair Support Equipment/Vehicle Maintenance Facility, Building 103, Greeley Air National Guard Station, Greeley, Colorado. Project shall consist of demolition of an existing 2nd floor construction, of 5,500 square feet, and construction of an addition to Building 101, of 2,400 square feet. Balance of Building 101, of 14,325 square feet, shall be completely remodeled. A portion of Building 103, of 5,400 square feet, shall be partially remodeled. Site work shall consist of asphalt paving infill and minor work associated with the addition and remodeling work. The project is listed under SIC 1542, $17,000,000.00 The estimated bid opening date is 1 September 1999. There will be a base bid plus multiple bid additives, which may or may not be awarded depending on funds available. Bids shall remain valid through 15 November 1999. The estimated construction period is 240 calendar days with estimated construction completion of 15 July 2000. Estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Solicitations will be available approximately 30 June 1999. The solicitation package will be limited to one set per bidder, and will be issued on a first come, first served basis. Requests for bid documents shall be in writing and accompanied by a non-refundable check for $105.00 for a specification copy with full-size plans or $90.00 for a specification copy with half-size plans. Make check payable to the U.S. Department of Treasury. Telephone request will not be accepted. The potential bidder shall provide a street address and not a post office box. Copies of the solicitation will be distributed to various Plans Rooms throughout Colorado. The approximate date for the site visit will be 2 August 1999 (theactual date will be included in the solicitation package.) Place of performance is Greeley, Colorado.
