This project consists of, but is not limited to: Minor Construction: Provide 4300sf additional floor space for briefing, classrooms, training support, and administrative space. Construct an addition with concrete foundation, post tension, slab, exterior load bearing CMU walls, steel trusses, metal roof, interior walls and suspended ceiling. Wet pipe fire suppression system, HVAC and Electrical system work includes all necessary utilities and connection to existing utilities. Repair: Provide labor, materials, and supervision necessary to repair, replace, or relocate walls, doors, ceilings, floor coverings, light fixtures, and electrical distribution. Provide new carpet throughout, except for bathrooms and break-rooms. The repair is to upgrade toilet, lavatory, and accessories; replace the existing HVAC equipment and rearrange ductwork as necessary. Replace existing ceiling tile, lay-in grid system and light fixtures. Provide battery powered emergency light fixtures as a component of the ceiling lightingsystem and install fiber optic system for compatibility with the existing base fire alarm system. Paint the exterior of the facility and repair the existing landscaping. Replace the existing built-up roof with a standing seam metal roof conforming to the base color scheme. The magnitude of this project is between $1 and $5 million. Performance period is 470 calendar days. This solicitation will be issued on or about 21 Jun 99.
