13 -- 25 MM PGU-32/U SAPHEI-T CARTRIDGES SOL N68936-99-R-0135 DUE 063099 POC Anita Dale, Contract Specialist, (760) 939-9656 The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA, intends to procure 25mm PGU-32/U ammunition including fabrication, assembly, and packaging. Raufoss A/S, Norway, is the developer of this ammunition. Under the terms of the license agreement between the U.S. Government and Raufoss A/S, use of the technology requires the cartridges be built in the United States or its possessions. A base quantity of 100,000 rounds is required with an option quantity for up to 200,000 additional rounds. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract award is anticipated. Deliveries will be made in increments of 50,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about 30 June 1999 and will be available through the NAWCWD 2.0 Contracts Competency home page at http://www.nawcwpns.navy.mil/~contract/homepubl.htm It is anticipated that all portions of the solicitation will be available electronically.
