The U.S. Customs Service intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Rockwell Collins General Aviation Division, Cedar Rapids, Iowa to procure general commercial avionics equipment for a P-3 aircraft modification program. This equipment will be supplied by Customs as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) to the prime contractor for this effort, Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems. This equipment will be integrated with a prime contractor furnished electronic flight instrument system, flight management and display system including GPS, automatic flight control system and dual GFE inertial navigation systems.
