is interested in obtaining information from vendors who can collect
Management Information (MI) from thirty six (36) selected SSA Field
Office telephone systems nationwide. SSA is considering acquisition of
a MI system that remotely polls SSA Field Office telephone systems on
a daily basis. The system shall then upload the MI reports to a
processor and electronic storage located at the vendor's site. SSA will
then remotely access the storage device during regular business hours.
The vendor must provide all the hardware, software, design, training,
installation and services to implement this project. The sites
selected for this pilot project have either an Executone IDS 108/228
telephone system, an Estech Systems, Inc. (ESI) IVX telephone system,
or a Fujitsu 9600VS telephone system. Each of the three telephone
systems use automated attendant, voice mail, and automated call
distribution. SSA will require the vendor to gather, sort, upload, and
store the followingtype of reports: line group utilization, line
utilization, extension summary, system utilization, voice mail
statistics, port statistics, automated attendant statistics, and ACD
statistics. Any vendor possessing the requisite expertise and resources
is invited to submit information concerning their capabilities,
experience (including current customer contact names and phone
numbers), suggested equipment and software, and other pertinent data
(including GSA contract / commercial price information) within
20-calendar days from the date of this publication. Any literature, or
other material submitted as a response to this notice, must contain
enough information for a reader to ascertain the capability of an
offered product to meet SSA's requirements. This is not a request for
proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for any information
provided. While receipt of responses will not be acknowledged,
information submitted will be used to broaden SSA's awareness of
