The 99 Contracting Squadron at Nellis AFB, NV intends to enter into a single source purchase order with Sparta, Inc. The requirement is for the following: installation and calibration of contractor furnished telemetry equipment for the Zeus Laser system into a Wells Cargo trailer; define the telemetry link message format; modify the Zeus fire control system software to transmit telemetry data; and develop software to display the telemetry system data to a remote ground station. The requirement will enable remote viewing of the operator camera video and will provide complete monitoring of the Zeus Laser system for training purposes. The Zeus Laser system is a prototype, which uses high power laser technology to neutralize explosive ordinance and was developed for the Air Force by Sparta, Inc. The SIC code is 3699 with an employee base of 750. The proposed solicitation is set-aside for small business concerns and will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Prospective offerors will respond to the RFQ by providing price quotes on the following: CLIN 0001AA Parts; CLIN 0001AB Labor. Offers from other than small business concerns are not solicited.
