The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA intends to contract for the manufacture of nineteen (19) ENR Measurement Instruments, p/n: NT-187-1, ASN: R400-SE44, NSN: TBD, Cage Code: 54487. Micronetics is the only known source of supply for this item. The items will be manufactured and delivered to the National Weather Service, National Logistics Supply Center, Kansas City, Missouri. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to acquire from one manufacturer under the authority of 41USC253 (c)(1). The Government knows of only one source authorized to provide the item identified. This is not a request for proposals and there is no solicitation available at this time. This acquisition is being conducted pursuant to the guidelines set forth in FAR part 13. The Government reserves the right to solicit bids on receipt of affirmative responses to this notice or issue an order to Micronetics, whichever is determined to be more advantageous to the Government without further notice. All interested parties must respond to this notice within 15 calendar days of this announcement. Requests received after this date will not be considered. In addition, all responses to this announcement must include the following: 1) Contractor name and phone number, 2) A brief statement detailing your experience in manufacturing ENR Measurement Instruments, 3) A list of the names and phone numbers of three references whom you have provided like or similar items to, contract numbers if any.
