The Government intends to acquire a firm fixed-price contract for the final Air Force design of the Total Exposure Model (TEM). This requirement is the continuation of the initial Total Exposure Model developed in 1997. The Contractor shall use the Total Exposure Model to conduct alph and beta testing. The Contractor will deign an Internet query page for use by Remedial Project Managers and scientists at Air Force Superfund sites. This page will address site-specific Superfund questions to be solved using the Environment Sciences Branch computer server databases. TEM will be used to compare cost/benefits of Superfund remedial actions; such as converting communities from well water systems to surface water distribution systems. TEM will be showcased at conferences around the world. The Contractor will be required to be present to address TEM simulation and modeling specific questions.
