This amendment is issued to provided additional information regarding
the PMWeb announcement dated 27 May 99. HOW TO RESPOND. In order to
compete for this contract, interested parties must demonstrate they are
qualified to perform the work by providing, not later than 4:00 P.M.,
Eastern Standard Time, JUNE 15, 1999, a CAPABILITY STATEMENT, in
original and seven (7) copies, to Michael W. Hargrove, Contracting
Officer, Minerals Management Service, 381 Elden Street, Herndon,
Virginia 20170-4817, detailing: (1) Key Personnel (those with primary
responsibility for performing and/or managing this project); (2)
Organizational Experience with this type of work and a description of
your facilities; (3) References for work of this nature (including
contract number/identifier and description, period of performance,
dollar amount, client name and telephone number) that your personnel or
organization is currently performing, or has completed in the last two
(2) years. If there exists concern the Government will uncover
derogatory information as a result of checking your Past Performance
Record, please provide an explanation for the adverse information and
any remedial action taken by your company to rectify the problem.
REFERENCES WILL BE CHECKED. Following review of all Capability
Statements submitted, those offerors deemed most qualified to
successfully perform the effort will be provided additional written
technical/cost/business proposal instructions. Thereafter, offerors
deemed most qualified to perform the effort will be scheduled for an
on-site visit at MMS Herndon, Virginia, to review the existing system
documentation. Offerors will be required to present an Oral
Presentation of their technical/cost/business proposal. The identified
key personnel will provide the Oral Presentation and the emphasis will
be on how you propose to perform this work. Questions may be E-mailed
