Provide all labor and materials for the replacement of an Underground Storage Tank at the Administration Building #2, Juarez-Lincoln Border Station, Laredo, TX. Demolition work of the contract includes the removal of concrete pavement, soil excavation, removal of a 775 gallon underground diesel fuel storage tank (UST), and removal of associated piping and wiring. New work of the contract includes installation of a new above ground fuel storage tank, and associated piping and wiring. New work also includes backfilling of excavated area, new concrete pavement, laboratory testing of soil and water, and disposal of hazardous materials. The selected Contractor is required to hold current and appropriate Texas Natural Resource and Conservation Commission (TNRCC) licenses/certificates for UST removal and tank installation. Length of construction is 120 days. The solicitation will be issued on or about June 30, 1999. The estimated cost of the project is between $25,000 to $100,000 at the time of announcement.
